Connecticut Requirements For Camps
Connecticut State law states that:
“All Challenge Course Directors must be 18 years or older”
“All Challenge Course Directors must have written documentation of training from an authorative source in ropes courses and/or rock climbing annually.”
CMR is the only climbing school qualified to provide this type of training to all groups in CT.
CMR is ready and prepared to help all camps develop standards, guidelines, and other instructional materials so that they meet the state qualifications and can continue to operate these types of programs.
Climbing in New Hampshire
Come climb with CMR guides for the weekend!
For those of you do not lead or would like to climb harder routes but would still like to climb in New Hampshire for a couple of days give us a call. Each day will be spent climbing classic routes at a different cliff, practicing rope management skills, efficient movement (if needed) and the enjoyment of being up in the air on a multi-pitch route.
Pre-registration required. 2 Maximum per guide Cost: $400.00 each for 1 or $225.00 each for 2
Climbing Merit Badge
CMR has the ability to offer classes to troops or individuals whom would like to obtain the Boy Scout climbing merit badge. In order to earn this Merit badge the scout must that he can belay, climb and rappel safely. Other requirements include First aid and CPR training.

Adventure Racing Certification
Have you ever thought about entering an adventure race?
Many race organizers require that you be prepared to rappel and ascend ropes. CMR is prepared to teach and provide you with the necessary skills you will need to participate in these races. CMR can also up-grade your skills or recertify you in preparation for your next race.
Pre-registration required. Cost: Dependent upon number requesting certification.
